All Apavisa tiles are rectified, allowing for tight grout joints. Tile sizes are modular, enabling different sizes to be used in a pattern and still retaining tight joints. All Apavisa tiles are monocaliber, meaning that all colors in all series are produced to the exact size, allowing the possibility of combining sizes, colors, and series in the same pattern; an industry first. All Apavisa tiles are factory sealed for the best possible stain resistance and ease of maintenance. Microsealing reduces the cost of maintenance, and eliminates the need to seal tiles after installation. Apavisa's technical features include: a very low water absorption rate, high bending resistance to reduce the chance of tile cracking, high abrasion resistance creating an unusually durable, and heavy traffic floor. Apavisa tiles are UV resistant and will not fade when exposed to sunlight in both interior and exterior applications.
