We now sell Emil stone box tile, Come see our new display floors
If you recall, we’ve introduced some sassy tiled mannequins around ArtWalk Tile. If you’ve missed that news, you can view the gallery on our website… We’ve decided these ladies need to be named. But not just any name! We want our loyal fans and customers to help us choose names for them. So here’s the deal:
We are going to choose one mannequin at a time and feature her on Facebook. You can post one name suggestion in the form of a comment on the featured mannequin photo of the month. One suggestion is allowed per Facebook user account, and one name only to be posted in your comment.
You are encourage to share the photo, and your name idea with your friends and social networks, and send them our way to “Like” our Facebook page and like your name suggestion! We may pick the name with the most “Likes,” or we may pick the one we like the most – you just never know. But the person who submits the name selected for our dazzling beauty will be awarded $50.
We do ask that you keep it clean – any profanities and vulgarities will be promptly removed.
Must be 18 years old to enter. Employees and immediate family members are not eligible for this promotion.
ArtWalk Tile reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time without any advance notice.
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
In the event a name is chosen that was posted more than once, the first entry will be deemed the winner (based on date/time).
This promotion ends April 30th at 11:59 PM EST.
If you have ever been to the ArtWalk Tile showroom, you know we are constantly changing things up. We absolutely love to get creative with tile, and are always looking for new things to create. If we aren’t tiling doorways and ceilings, we are creating outdoor tile art and other mosaics. Our latest project was a makeover of the stairs you’ll find on the 2nd floor of our Rochester, NY showroom.
The stairs were previously tiled with a purple metallic mosaic tile, and have just been updated to give them a fresh look. You can see here that remnants of the old tile still remain along the top and bottom steps:
As you look at the work-in-progress, you see the white glass bubble tile used to replace the dark mosaic pattern. However, the finished project has a completely different look. We mixed in multiple shades of the glass bubble tile to give it a fresh look. This tile makeover demonstrates how to mix and match tile colors to create contrast.
As part of this project, they are striving to use locally produced and supplied products wherever possible. They strive to be known for being known for their environmentally responsible lodging practices.
In part with that, the new tile flooring throughout the Inn will be completed with tile furnished by ArtWalk Tile.
The lobby of the hotel will include a mosaic of the signature 384, which has been commissioned by an Italian artist.
Here’s a preview of the commissioned tile mosaic installation for the hotel lobby:

Here is another installment from our “My Tile Style” contest we ran late last year through our Facebook Page. $1,000 was awarded to one lucky winner from those who submitted photos and write-ups on tile projects they did using ArtWalk Tile products.
Elynne B. of Silver Spring, Maryland, submitted an entry from their bathroom renovation project. Here’s what she had to say about it:
This total bathroom renovation project was done by ourselves. We hand built the new shower and tiled throughout using the same ceramic slate tile in various sizes. The outside shelf was done using random leftover tile pieces. The baseboard we completed using the bullnose tile (though it does not show in the photo).
This was my first time ever tiling – it was hard work, but tons of fun and I’ve become quite good at using the tile saw now!
We absolutely love this tile!
We’ve just updated the Design Gallery section on our website with the latest from ArtWalk Tile. The only part of this beautiful design project we get to take credit for is that all tile used in this renovation was supplied by ArtWalk Tile.
The design credit goes to Jackie Monin, President of Creative Details, Inc., who was the lead designer on this extensive renovation and addition project at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital’s Newburgh Campus.
These are just a few shots of the elegant design work done by Jackie Monin. Please head over to our Design Gallery to view more photos of the project.
